Learn how to develop a consistent training practice for you & your dog. A 2-Part Workshop Series.
This six-part workshop is dedicated to those handlers who want to teach their dogs how to self-regulate pace.
Intensive stock dog training program for owners ready to improve their training and handling skills.
I started my journey with my border collies 30 years ago, but back then, resources were limited to books, videos, and friends.
It was tough to understand the relationship between the stock-handler-dog, but with years of experience, I am happy to share my knowledge.
I have a Batchelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Microbiology, as well as a Master's Education.
I've competed internationally, had multiple trial placings with multiple dogs, and taught clinics all across Canada. Plus, I'm a high school educator with a passion for teaching and designing curriculums.
That means you'll get clear and easy-to-follow lessons that will save you time and frustration. Let's get training!

Jen made it look so easy, but her teaching was also easy to understand.
"It took me the few days of clinic to totally understand how the magic worked, but with practice my dog's flanks, approach, pace and outruns all improved. Even the old dog. who had terrible flanks improved. So Jen, when are you coming back to Nova Scotia!"
Paula, Nova Scotia
I highly recommend an in-person clinic or to work with Jennifer through her online offerings.
"Jen has played an important role in my introduction to sheepdog handling. She is a great clinician, calm and patient explaining concepts, focuses on strong fundamentals and helping students through the big learning curve that comes with learning a new sport."
Jackie, Alberta
I help devoted stock dog owners learn how to communicate with their dogs so that they become productive working partners.
